    Rachel Klein (Founding Member, ITC) is an NYC based director specializing in new musical development. Off-Broadway direction: The Gospel According to Heather (Theatre 555; starring Katey Sagal); Red Roses, Green Gold (Minetta Lane Theatre/ft. the music of the Grateful Dead); Around the World in 80 Days (The Davenport Theatre); The Anthem (Lynn Redgrave Theatre); The Opposite of Love (Royal Performing Arts Space). Selected NYC: Tink! (NYMF); More Than All the World (Theatre for the New City); Circus of Circus (The House of Yes). Selected Regional: Spells of the Sea at the Kennedy Center as part of the 2024 season; Esther: A New Dance Musical (starring Sharna Burgess of Dancing With the Stars); The Suffragist (starring Nancy Opel), Dead Certain (composer: Air Supply's Graham Russell); 54 the Musical (starring Michaela Jaé Rodriguez and Frankie Grande). Selected Workshops & Readings: Big Famous (the story of the infamous Polka Ponzi scheme at New 42); The Trouble with Dead Boyfriends, High Priest (Paul Iacono’s meditation on the Warhol Factory); Helen (Starring Bonnie Milligan), Almost Got 'Em (starring Marc Kudisch, Alison Fraser, and Brooks Ashmanskas); Medusa: A New Pop Opera. Charity: Ms. Klein directed the charity roast of Michael Musto raising funds for the Callen Lorde Community Health Center, featuring Rosie O'Donnell, Bruce Vilanch, Bianca Del Rio, Randy Rainbow, and Jinkx Monsoon. Ms. Klein is a proud member of SDC, founding member of Iconoclast Theatre Collective, guest teaching artist at Fordham University, serves on the New Musical Screening Committee for NAMT, directed Double, Double for Bite Sized Broadway (ft. Richard Kind) and is the Director/Showrunner of the audio series The World to Come (ft. Adrienne Barbeau).

  • ANDY PETERSON

    Andy Peterson (Founding Member, ITC) is an award-winning New York based composer, musical director, arranger and orchestrator originally hailing from the Land Down Under. He holds a Bachelor of Music (Composition) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. As a Broadway conductor and musician, Andy has conducted and/or played shows such as SUFFS, A BEAUTIFUL NOISE, DANCIN’ and TOOTSIE as well as the rehearsal pianist for Roundabout’s concert of MY ONE AND ONLY (starring Sutton Foster and Gavin Creel at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre). He was also the Musical Director, Orchestrator and Arranger for SPELLS OF THE SEA and the Kennedy Center. Other New York theatre credits include RED ROSES, GREEN GOLD (Musical Director/ Arrangements/ Orchestrations at Minetta Lane Theatre with Music Supervision from Jeff Chimenti of Dead and Company), ATOMIC (Musical Direction / Arrangements /Orchestrations at Theatre Row). NIGHT TIDE (Musical Direction/ Arrangements/ Orchestrations at Playwrights Horizons), MORE THAN ALL THE WORLD (Musical Direction / Arrangements/ Orchestrations at Theatre for the New City), SHAKEN, NOT STIRRED (Musical Direction/ Arrangements/ Orchestrations at The Django and The Cutting Room). He has also installed new entertainment at UNIVERSAL BEIJING RESORT and UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN as well as creating new shows for UNIVERSAL EPIC UNIVERSE and CELEBRITY CRUISE LINES.
    As a composer, Andy was a co-creator on the hit musical audio series THE WORLD TO COME for which he wrote over 50 original songs and over 3 hours of musical scoring. He also wrote the music for the critically acclaimed two person musical RAZORHURST which played successful runs in Sydney and New Jersey and AN ENTIRELY ORDINARY TOWN which played runs in New York, Chicago and Sydney as well as the film musical MAKE AMERICA SAFE which won Best Score 2019 at the World X Short Film Festival in Rome.

  • ERIK RANSOM

    Erik Ransom (Founding Member, ITC) is an award-winning, internationally-produced playwright, composer, lyricist, performer, skáld and epicist. Erik wrote both music and libretto for his risqué opus “GRINDR The Opera”, which has played across the U.S. and beyond to great acclaim. In 2019, after two sold-out runs in London, the opera was the recipient of the coveted Offie Award for Best New Musical on the Off-West End stage in London."COMING: A Rock Musical of Biblical Proportions” was Erik’s first foray as a playwright/composer/lyricist and, within a year of starting the first draft, he was fortunate enough to see it fully produced for a sold-out run at The Prince Music Theatre in Philadelphia and later revived in NYC at Theatre 80. Erik wrote songs for the feature film "Happy Yummy Chicken" in which he also stars alongside Taryn Manning (Orange is the New Black) and Diane Guerrero (Doom Patrol). The world-premiere production of Erik’s musical “MORE THAN ALL THE WORLD” inspired by Marlowe’s “EDWARD II” was produced at Theater for the New City in November, 2016, after successful readings at The Musical Theatre Factory and The York Theatre. As a lyricist, Erik penned the lyrical content of the Off-Broadway Sci-Fi musical spectacular “THE ANTHEM” and for “SHOOTING STAR: A Revealing New Musical”, which recently ran at Hudson Theatres in Los Angeles and earned Erik a 2019 Ovation Award Nomination for Best Lyrics/Composition of a Musical, alongside his collaborator the celebrated German composer Thomas Zaufke. Erik plays the recurring role of François on the Emmy-nominated Amazon Prime/PopstarTV series “Tainted Dreams” and is a two-time champion of the Tune-in-Time improvised musical theatre writing competition and served as Head Comedy Writer for the Roast of Michael Musto, hosted by Bruce Vilanch and presented by Rosie O’Donnell. Erik’s most ambitious project to date is “The World to Come” an epic, episodic audio adventure series created with frequent collaborators Rachel Klein and Andy Peterson who, alongside Erik, make up the creative triumvirate that leads The Iconoclast Theatre Collective.
